With more than 34 years in the financial services business, Al Howell, President of Mid-Atlantic Financial Group, Inc., specializes in helping clients meet their needs and concerns, through total financial planning. Securities' solutions are offered through Woodbury Financial Services, an independent broker/dealer. Risk-based solutions are offered through Al's own firm, Mid-Atlantic Financial Group, Inc. Al began his career in 1980 with the Life of Virginia, later named GE Financial Advisors. He achieved numerous awards including: Agent of the Year, Most Valuable Performer, President's Honor Council, and President's Citation and the President's Trophy. Al holds the following designations through American College: Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®). Al has been a Continuing Education instructor during the last 25 years. Al earned his Bachelor's degree in education from UNC-Greensboro, and did his Master's work at Virginia Commonwealth University. He is a graduate of the Agency Management Training Course and The Purdue Management Institute. Al is an Investment Advisor Representative and has his Series 7, 6, 22, 63 and 24 securities registrations (all held with Woodbury Financial Services).
