Andy Whitten:

Andy joined PFG Private Wealth Management, LLC as a Financial Advisor and Assistant Portfolio Manager in February 2016. Andy's financial career began at Bank of America as a personal banker in 2004. He later joined Taylor & Williams as a para-planner and was quickly promoted to a financial advisor position, where he served his clients faithfully for 10 years. Andy graduated from the University of Tampa in 2003 with a B.S. in Business Management. He holds a FINRA Uniform Investment Adviser Law (Series 65) license as well as a Florida Life, Health and Variable Annuity license. Andy is happily married to his lovely wife Krystal and has been blessed with two children, a son and a daughter. He is actively involved at Idlewild Baptist Church, where he serves as a coach, deacon, teacher and a member of the finance committee. Away from business he enjoys time with family and friends, watching the Tampa Bay Rays, golfing, fishing and hunting.

John Teixeira, Jr., CFP®, AIF®:

John is a seasoned Financial Advisor with 9 years of experience. In this capacity, John is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive financial planning & investment strategies. John is originally from the Boston area where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from the University of Bridgewater. John has been in the financial services industry since 2006. John's professional designations include Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®). He has obtained a passing score for the General Securities Representative (Series 7) exam, Uniform Securities Agent State Law (Series 63) exam, and the Uniform Investment Adviser Law (Series 65) exam.

Judy Karniewicz, Esq.:

Judy Karniewicz was born and raised in rural Virginia and attended the University of Virginia prior to attending the University of Florida Levin College of Law where she graduated cum laude. Judy returned to the University of Florida, following her admission to the Florida Bar, and obtained her master’s in Taxation Law. She is currently a member of the Tax Section of the Florida Bar and was one of two recipients of a Fellowship award from the Tax Section for 2009 and 2010. Judy focuses her practice in the areas of business law, estate planning, estate administration, asset protection, Medicaid planning, and taxation. In 2007, Judy was named CVCC’s Outstanding Alumnus of the Year. In addition to providing legal services, Judy commits a portion of her time each year to supporting not-for-profit organizations by providing pro bono services. She also serves on the board of the Hillsborough County Family Justice Center.
